In Medieval culture wrestling was among the most popular sports. Young boys would have years of wrestling experience before they ever picked up a sword and that experience shaped how they fought with any weapon.

In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of Medieval folk wrestling and the high percentage takedown routes taught by Ott and other masters of the early German school.

Perfect for historical fencers who want to gain ability in the grapple, or any history nerds who want to learn to fight.
